Level of management:
Top level management:
A small group of executives who manage the overall organization is called Top Level Managers.
EXAMPLES: Chef executives, president, Vice president, Managing director, General manager etc.
Middle level management:
A large group of managers who are primarily responsible for implementing the policies and plans developed by top management and supervising the activities of lower-level managers is called middle-level management.
Example: Plant manager, Operation manager, Area manager.
First line managers:
A group of manager who supervises the activities of employees are called first line managers or lower level managers.
